SOFT TARGET

The term soft target refers to vulnerable places, structures or people, normally lacking specific protective measures and therefore more exposed to potential attacks.

Soft Target reflects on the precariousness of existence and the vulnerability of the body, constantly exposed to what we cannot predict or control. Everyday places, which we move through naturally, can suddenly become the setting for events that disrupt their normality, whether due to natural causes, accidents or human actions.

The performance observes this condition of fragility: our being exposed without being aware of it, while we simply continue to live, move and inhabit the spaces around us.

Until something or someone intervenes and changes the course of our lives forever.

Created for the project Visioni del corpo – Il corpo in pericolo by CCN Aterballetto. Visioni del corpo is a series of events bringing together contemporary art and contemporary dance, in a journey whose common denominator is the body itself.
